Family-Owned Since 2005 · Parkville, MO
"Comfortable, friendly, small-town feel with wonderful food. You'll even see Roxanne roaming around making sure everyone is satisfied."
Our Story
Roxanne's Cafe opened in September 2005 — and from day one, it's been a family affair. We're locally owned and operated by David and Roxanne Gray, and on any given weekend you're likely to see three or four generations of the Gray family working right alongside us in the restaurant.
Roxanne's family has been in the Parkville area a long time. This isn't just a business — it's home. We serve breakfast and lunch every day, with scratch-made recipes, generous portions, and prices that won't leave you guessing. Whether you're a regular or visiting for the first time, we want you to feel like you belong here.
"I always have a story to tell — and I'd love to hear yours." — Roxanne Gray, Owner
Come as you are. Bring the whole crew. A table will be waiting.
From Scratch, Every Morning
There are no heat lamps or pre-made shortcuts at Roxanne's. Mashed potatoes are made from scratch. Pies are baked before you wake up. Cinnamon rolls go in the oven fresh every single morning. That's why people drive from across the Kansas City northland to eat here — and why they keep coming back.

Our giant cinnamon rolls — freshly baked every morning — are legendary. Right alongside those, our biscuits and gravy, homemade pies (the custard pie especially), and classics like the Gunslinger chicken fried steak are things people drive across the northland for.
